What does the Faro Score measure?

Every company in this index is scanned daily across six categories of AI agent readiness: agent permissions (robots.txt, ClaudeBot, GPTBot), discoverability (sitemap, llms.txt, canonical), structured data (JSON-LD, schema markup), pricing clarity, agent infrastructure (API docs, agents.json), and content readability.

The score represents how well an AI agent, acting on behalf of a buyer, can navigate, understand, and evaluate each company. A score of 70+ means the site is genuinely AI-navigable. A score below 40 means key signals are missing and the site risks being skipped entirely during agent evaluations.

The average score across all sites we've scanned is 41/100. Even well-resourced companies with dedicated engineering teams frequently block AI crawlers, omit structured data, or serve pricing information in ways that agent models cannot parse. This is a structural gap, not a knowledge gap, and it's fixable with the right tools.
