You earn your tier rate on every payment a referred customer makes for 12 months, starting from their first paid invoice. On Faro's current pricing that's up to $3.60/mo per Pro referral and up to $19.60/mo per Agency referral at the 40% tier. Ten Agency referrals at Lighthouse tier is $196 a month, or about $2,350 over the year.
Automatically, through Stripe. You connect a bank account once inside your dashboard; after that, payouts run monthly on their own whenever your balance clears $25. Each commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment it came from. That buffer is what makes refund clawbacks clean.
Your link sets a 90-day cookie, and the last partner link clicked gets the credit. The moment your referral creates an account, the referral locks to that account permanently, so if they sign up on a laptop and subscribe from their phone three weeks later, you're still credited.
No. Any Faro account, including a free one, can join instantly from the dashboard. In practice our best partners are agencies and consultants who already recommend AI-readiness work to clients, but there's no requirement to be on a paid plan.
A referred account with a live paid subscription. If a referral cancels, they stop counting toward your tier (existing earned commissions are unaffected). Comped or 100%-off subscriptions never count and never earn: commission is a share of real revenue.
Self-referrals, bidding on Faro's brand keywords in ads, cookie stuffing, and coupon-scraping sites. You must disclose partner links where you share them. Refunded payments are clawed back automatically. Break the rules and the account is suspended. Everything else is fair game.
