What does the Faro Score measure?

Every business in the registry is scanned across seven categories of AI visibility: agent permissions (robots.txt, ClaudeBot, GPTBot), content discoverability (sitemap, llms.txt, canonical), structured data (JSON-LD, schema markup), pricing transparency, agent infrastructure (API docs, agents.json, MCP), agent operability (can an agent actually use your buttons and forms), and trust & identity.

The score represents how well an AI agent, acting on behalf of a buyer, can navigate, understand, and evaluate each business. A score of 70+ means the site is genuinely AI-navigable. A score below 40 means key signals are missing and the site risks being skipped entirely during agent evaluations.

The average score across the 3,299 sites in the registry is 56/100. Even well-resourced companies with dedicated engineering teams frequently block AI crawlers, omit structured data, or serve pricing in ways agents cannot parse. It's a structural gap, and it's fixable.

The directory view lists what each business offers agents directly. Owners can claim their listing to get it marked as verified.
