How to share reports with clients (client portal)

Faro's client portal lets you generate a shareable link for any scanned domain. Your client opens the link in a browser and sees their full AI readiness report, score, breakdown, issues, and a PDF download. No Faro account needed on their side.

Generating a client link

Go to Dashboard → Scans. Find the domain you want to share. Click the amber Share button in the row. Faro generates a unique 90-day link tied to that scan and copies it to your clipboard automatically. You'll see the button turn green and say "Copied!" to confirm.

Paste that link into an email, Slack message, or client report. Done.

What the client sees

The client report page shows:

• Their domain's AI readiness score as a visual score ring with grade
• A plain-English summary of their visibility status
• Category breakdown with progress bars across all six scoring categories
• Every failing check, what was found and why it matters
• Every passing check, what's already working
• A Download PDF button in the top-right

Your agency email address appears in the footer so the client knows who prepared it. A "Get your own audit" call-to-action appears at the bottom, clients often sign up directly after seeing their results.

Link expiry and re-sharing

Each link is valid for 90 days. After it expires, generate a new one by clicking Share again, it creates a fresh link pointing to the latest scan for that domain. You can generate as many links as needed; there's no limit on the number of client links per domain.

PDF reports

The client can download a PDF directly from their report page. If you've uploaded your agency logo in Settings → Branding, the PDF uses your logo instead of Faro's, making it fully white-labelled for client delivery.

Who can generate client links?

Client portal links are an Agency plan feature. The Share button appears on scan rows for Agency users only. Team members on your Agency account can also generate links.
